EMDR Therapist & Clinical Consultant

Faculty at The Center for Excellence in EMDR Therapy

Whether you are a client seeking deep healing or a therapist seeking mastery in Relational EMDR, I offer a steady, judgment-free space to move beyond the surface and shift long-held patterns.

My Approach

Our work will feel warm, collaborative, and steady—but also focused and intentional. This isn’t just a place to “feel better.” It’s a space to go deeper, shift long-held patterns, and begin relating to yourself and others in a new way.

You won’t be asked to “just talk” or figure things out alone. We pay close attention to what’s happening underneath your patterns—and how healing unfolds in real time, between us, not only inside you.

Deep roots in Vermont and Attachment Work

I am a lifelong Vermonter—with a short detour to the South, where I earned my MSW from Winthrop University. I returned home with a clear mission: to serve the communities that shaped me.

My roots in attachment work run deep. I began my career working with children in residential care navigating severe attachment disorders, then moved into supporting adults with substance use struggles. Today, I specialize in working with people who want to heal relational patterns and reconnect with themselves.

Faculty at The Center for Excellence in EMDR Therapy: My clinical style has been deeply shaped by my role as Faculty at The Center for Excellence in EMDR Therapy, founded by Deany Laliotis. In this role, I train and mentor therapists alongside colleagues who are defining the future of Relational EMDR. This allows me to bring the most advanced, nuanced interventions directly to my consultees and my therapy clients.

More than just a therapist.

Outside of the therapy room, I’m a mother, a Type 1 diabetic, a community builder, and a lifelong learner.

I know what it’s like to juggle multiple roles while trying to maintain your own well-being. I often tell my high-achieving clients (and the therapists I mentor) that the sweet spot in life isn’t perfection—it’s progress, presence, and connection.

"In my practice and in my life, I return to three things:
Progress over perfection. Connection over control. Curiosity over judgment.
They shape how I sit with clients, how I move through my own growth, and how I hold space for what’s possible."

I'm all about

Strong coffee, deep conversations, Vermont woods, saying what’s real, showing up fully, letting things be messy, community over isolation, learning with my clients, authenticity over polish.

I'm not about

Pretending to have it all together, small talk when depth is needed, quick fixes, toxic positivity, shrinking your needs, rushing the process, therapist neutrality when compassion is needed, shaming survival strategies, turning away from what’s real.

Upcycle Your Trauma

How I help

I help individuals, couples, and families who feel caught in familiar emotional cycles—shutting down, people-pleasing, reacting quickly, or feeling disconnected even in the relationships that matter most. On the outside you may seem fine, but inside, you know something deeper is happening.

My goal is to help you "upcycle" these old patterns. Using Relational EMDR Therapy, we look at how early experiences are still shaping your nervous system and relationships today—and begin to transform those patterns gently, from the inside out.

This isn’t about just retelling your story. It’s about experiencing something new in real time with someone who is grounded, attuned, and fully with you. Together, we’ll work toward more steadiness in your body, more ease in your relationships, and the confidence to trust yourself again.

WE MAY BE

The perfect

fit

 if...

  • You’ve done the work before: You’ve tried therapy (or supervision) but still feel stuck in the same emotional or relational patterns.

  • You crave depth: You’re open to exploring how your past affects your present—even if you don’t know where it will lead.

  • You want felt experience: You want a space that focuses on feeling and shifting, not just retelling the story.

  • You want transformation, not management: You’re looking for something deeper than coping skills—a way to shift what’s underneath, not just manage it.
