Practice in the "Deep End" Alone
I was trained in EMDR just as the world began to shutter in 2020. Suddenly, like so many of us, I found myself in the 'deep end' of clinical work, isolated from the very community I needed to thrive.
That isolation taught me a vital lesson: We don't just need hours; we need connection.  My journey led me to the Center for Excellence in EMDR Therapy, where I felt that familiar, high-wire mix of being 'underskilled' yet deeply hungry for more. It was there I realized that mastery isn't about being perfect—it’s about being supported.
My passion for this work is deeply personal. As someone diagnosed with ADHD in my mid-20s, I spent years viewing my differently-wired brain as a weakness to be hidden. Today, I see it as my superpower—the very thing that allows me to see patterns, feel the relational 'interweave,' and help my neurodiverse consultees realize they aren't 'other.' They are capable of profound, expert-level craft.
Whether we are navigating the complexities of neurodiversity or the weight of intergenerational trauma, I created this mentorship to be the community I once craved. A place where your story, your brain, and your clinical intuition are finally given the space to lead.
