Relational EMDR Intensives: A Space for Deep Healing
Accelerated trauma processing for neurodivergent women, parents, and those seeking to break intergenerational patterns.
In-person in Vermont | Online in VT, NH, NC and SC
When Weekly Therapy Isn't Enough
Traditional 50-minute sessions are valuable, but for many women, the "start-stop" nature of weekly therapy can feel like a bottleneck. Just as you begin to reach the core of a memory or a pattern, the hour is up.
If you are navigating the sensory demands of ADHD, the high-stakes transition of postpartum, or the reflective season of your 50s and 60s, you don’t need more "to-do" lists. You need space.
My EMDR Intensives offer a container for deep, uninterrupted momentum. Using a relational framework grounded in Attachment Theory, we focus on repairing the internal wounds that drive self-doubt, burnout, and relational friction. We don't just manage symptoms; we shift the nervous system.
Intergenerational Repair
For the Cycle-Breaking Parent
The transition into parenthood often stirs up old attachment wounds. Heal your own attachment history so you can parent with presence, rather than reactivity.
-
Clear the Legacy: Address the childhood echoes that drive parenting guilt and burnout.
-
End the Cycle: Resolve the "stuck" patterns you don't want to pass down to the next generation.
-
Parent from Peace: Reclaim your ability to be present, regulated, and connected with your children.
Neuro-Affirming Space
For the ADHD & AuDHD Woman
Standard therapy can feel like another place where you have to "mask." This approach respects your unique wiring and works with your brain, not against it.
-
Flow State Healing: The intensive format leans into your natural ability to deep-dive without jarring weekly transitions.
-
Low-Masking Environment: A sensory-friendly space where you don't have to perform "normalcy" to get help.
-
Shame-Free Processing: Clear the trauma of living in a world not built for your neurodivergent brain.
The Season of Reclamation
For Women in their 40s, 50s, & 60s+
It is easy to lose your voice while carrying the weight of a career, active parenting, and caring for aging parents. This intensive is a space to finally ask: "What about me?"
-
Break the Cycle: Resolve long-standing patterns of caretaking and "performing" for others.
-
Find Your Voice: Reclaim your authentic self after decades of putting everyone else first.
-
Home in Your Skin: It is never too late to trade burnout for internal peace.

We Don't Just Dive in-- We Build a Container
A Relational EMDR Intensive is a specialized clinical intervention, not a "crash course." To ensure you feel grounded and resilient throughout the experience, we dedicate significant time to the "front end" of our work. We do not begin reprocessing until we have mapped your history and strengthened your nervous system’s internal resources.
This preparation ensures that the work—while deep—is also manageable and safe.
The 4-Step Clinical Journey
The Connection Call
A brief, initial conversation to ensure our relational fit and to confirm that the intensive format is the most appropriate clinical path for your current needs.
Â
Â
Mapping & Resource Building
This 90-minute session is the most vital part of our preparation. We don’t just "talk" about your history; we map the patterns and determine the clinical focus of your intensive. We also focus on stabilization work, practicing EMDR-specific exercises like the Container and Calm State to ensure your nervous system feels resilient and ready for the reprocessing phase.
The Intensive Immersion
Focused, extended EMDR reprocessing sessions (ranging from 4 to 12 hours depending on your package). Because the assessment is already complete, we can stay in the "flow state" of healing, allowing for the profound shifts that standard therapy often misses.
Integration & Landing
Deep work requires a soft re-entry. We conclude with a dedicated reflection session to anchor your progress, review your new insights, and ensure you feel supported as you return to your daily life in Vermont, New Hampshire, or the Carolinas.
Â
Beyond the 50 Minute Hour
An intensive is more than just an extended session; it is a comprehensive therapeutic container designed for deep relational work and lasting stability.
Focused EMDR Reprocessing
Every intensive begins with a minimum of 4 hours of focused reprocessing. By removing the "start-stop" transitions of weekly therapy, we utilize the brain’s natural neuroplasticity to reach the root of attachment patterns more efficiently.Â
The Relational Mapping Workbook
You will receive a workbook specifically tailored to your goals. This isn't a generic journal; it is a clinical guide that provides practical exercises and relational insights to help you track your progress and anchor your shifts between sessions.
Preparatory & Integration Video Modules
To maximize our time together, you will have access to a series of video tutorials. These guide you through the psychoeducation of trauma and neurodiversity before we meet, and provide grounding techniques to support your integration after the intensive is complete.
Personalized Stabilization Tools
During the front-end of our work, we develop your "Resource Toolkit." This includes specific EMDR-based activities—such as the Container and Calm State resources—ensuring you have reliable, evidence-based methods to maintain emotional stability after deep reprocessing.
A Sophisticated Approach to Accelerated Healing
My EMDR Intensive program is built on the understanding that deep relational healing requires both time and targeted preparation. By utilizing a hybrid model of self-paced online modules and extended clinical sessions, we maximize our time together.
The preparatory modules transform what typically takes weeks of talk-based psychoeducation into a streamlined, accessible resource. This allows you to arrive at your intensive fully prepared for reprocessing—understanding how your nervous system works and having your "stabilization toolkit" (like the Container and Calm State resources) already in place.
These resources remain available to you long after our time together, providing a roadmap for continued integration and insight at your own pace.
Imagine the ShiftÂ
-
Clarity: You no longer have to wonder "why" you feel stuck; you have the support of a highly trained therapist to guide you through the "how" of healing.
-
Connection: You can finally achieve the relational depth and inner quiet you’ve been seeking, without past attachment wounds dictating your present.
-
Simplicity: You don’t have to figure this out on your own. We follow a clear, evidence-based path toward the balance and fulfillment you deserve.

"Changing the memories that form the way we see ourselves also changes the way we view others. Therefore, our relationships, job performance, what we are willing to do or are able to resist, all move in a positive direction."

The Vermont Healing Retreat: A Destination for Depth
You don’t have to live in the Green Mountains to heal here.
While I provide specialized telehealth for residents of Vermont, New Hampshire, North Carolina, and South Carolina, many clients choose to travel to Vermont for an immersive, in-person intensive experience.
Escaping the daily "noise"—the professional demands of NYC, the pace of Boston, or the familiar triggers of home—allows your nervous system to drop into a deeper state of focus. My office is located near the restorative landscape of Killington, VT, offering the perfect backdrop for the deep relational work of an intensive.
Why Clients Choose a "Destination Intensive":
-
Environmental Shift: Physically leaving your "stress zone" signals to your brain that it is safe to down-regulate and process deep-seated attachment patterns.
-
Privacy & Space: Traveling for care offers an extra layer of privacy and a "sacred container" for your work, away from your daily responsibilities.
-
The Vermont Resource: We utilize the restorative power of the landscape to anchor the stabilization work we do in session.
The Logistics: If you are traveling from out of state (including New York, Massachusetts, or beyond), I can provide a curated list of local accommodations in the Killington area that offer a sensory-friendly, "low-demand" environment for your evenings. We will discuss all travel logistics during your Connection Call to ensure your retreat is as seamless as possible.
For those located in Saratoga Springs, NY, or the Capital Region, a Relational EMDR Intensive is just a short, scenic drive away. By crossing into Vermont for your clinical sessions, you can access specialized care not available in your immediate area while benefiting from a true "day-trip" or "weekend-retreat" atmosphere.
An Investment in Your Legacy
Choosing an EMDR Intensive is a commitment to your long-term well-being. For the cycle-breaking parent, this is an investment in your children’s future. For the neurodivergent woman, it is an investment in a life with less friction. For the woman in her 50s or 60s, it is a reclamation of your time and peace.
